ABOUT/CARE
FisheyeCeramic’s pottery is handmade with food, dishwasher, and microwave safe clay and glazes, unless otherwise noted. I suggest that you hand wash handmade ceramics though and use pot holders when removing items from the microwave. You should also avoid extreme changes in temperature (freezing to boiling) with handmade ceramics. 

Most of FisheyeCeramic’s pieces are fired in an electric kiln, unless otherwise noted.

Because of the nature of handmade, there will be slight variations in the shape, size, color, and finish of the items from what you see in the photographs. No two pieces are exactly alike, which is the beauty of handmade ceramics. These variations are very small and may not be noticeable–if they are though, please know that they are not flaws, but are part of what makes each item unique.

SHIPPING
Each package is carefully packed. Recycled packing material will be used whenever possible. 

Orders can only be shipped within the US at this time. They will be shipped via USPS priority mail. Insurance is available upon request.

Shipping charges are calculated by weight. The final weight of your order will appear in your shopping cart. Sometimes because of how my items are set up on my website, postage expenses may seem higher than normal. Please note that any excess shipping costs will be refunded to you.

For international orders, please contact me. 

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
All purchases are considered final sale unless unfairly represented. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me within one week of receiving your order so that we can find a solution. If we come to an agreement that the item can be returned, they may be returned for exchange or store credit only.

All items should be returned in their original packaging, wrapped carefully, and must be trackable and shipped at the customer's expense. Once I have received the return package, a replacement will be sent or a store credit issued. 

Each item is carefully wrapped and packed. Everything is done to reduce the possibility of damage during shipment. However, if you do receive a broken item, please contact me immediately for a replacement or refund.

MADE TO ORDER
Items marked as “Made to Order” will take approximately 4-6 weeks to deliver from date of order, depending on the quantity ordered.

CUSTOM & WHOLESALE ORDERS
Please contact me for custom orders (allow 4-12 weeks for these orders, depending on quantity requested) and wholesale inquiries. Please note that custom orders can only be of items I have listed in my web shop in any of my glazes. So if you see a bowl you want but in a different glaze color than listed, I can potentially do that for you. I do not make anything beyond what you see on my website nor do I put any other brand names on my ceramics.

PRIVACY POLICY
FisheyeCeramics is a small online business. I respect your information and privacy. Under no circumstances is your information ever sold or rented to a third party.

How I collect your information and where I store it

Your name and email address is collected by Mailchimp, a mailing list service provider that I use if you signed up to my mailing list via my website. Occasionally I collect your personal information directly from events (craft fairs, markets) I attend or via email inquiry. 

I also collect information such as your postal address in order to fulfill your order request when orders are placed. 

When you provide your personal information to sign up to receive occasional emails, place an order, or send / reply to a message, I understand that you consent to my collecting information and using it for that specific purpose only. 

Your personal information collected via email newsletter is stored securely in the Mailchimp system. For the Mailchimp Privacy Policy, please find it here.

What I do with your information

When you are on my mailing list, you will receive occasional emails containing information such as my webshop updates and forthcoming events. This is information strictly about FisheyeCeramics that you may be interested in. 

Third party service and payment providers

In order to fulfil your order on my online shop or sales at events, your information may be shared on a third party service and payment providers as follows:

My website and online shop are hosted on Squarespace. Inc. (Squarespace) They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products to you. Your information is stored securely by Squarespace when an order is placed. For the Squarespace Privacy Policy, please find it here. 

Squarespace uses third party payment providers to assist in processing your personal information in order to complete your order via my online shop. They only collect information that is required for a purchase related transaction, and this will be done either by PayPal or Stripes. For the Paypal Privacy Policy, please find it here. For the Stripes Privacy Policy, please find it here. 

When you purchase my products directly at a craft fair or event, I use the payment service, Square. Your information will be collected to the extent necessary to perform these services. For the Square Privacy Policy, please find it here. 

I share your information with other service providers such as USPS, UPS, and Fedex and other courier services, in order to complete your order request. This is only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Your right to access and delete

When you place an order or sign up for emails, your information will be in my records unless and until you ask me to delete the information. You can do this at anytime by clicking the unsubscribe button on the bottom of my emails or via email to fisheyeceramics@gmail.com.
